I received my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education with a Minor in Information Systems from Mercer University. My Master's Program was with Grand Canyon University. I received my Master's in Reading Curriculum and Instruction. I have an endorsement in the Gifted program, ESOL, Science, and Math.

I have previously taught second grade for twelve years and fifth grade for three years. I also have taught a math/science lab for Kindergarten through fifth grade for a few years. I was the GPS lead teacher in S. Georgia. My previous jobs include a restaurant manager, bank manager, cake decorator, photo processing and printing for a black and white photo lab, mother of two, team mom, room mom, money processor, bank teller, bank teller supervisor, restaurant promotions and marketing, cashier, system trainer, after school coordinator, team leader, and now a GRANDMA! I am getting up in years so the list continues to grow. : )

As the list grows, I am now the codirector for the 21st Century Grant Leader Lab!  I am excited about the opportunity to work at Mt. Carmel and even more excited to work with your children.

Hi this is my tenth year at Lithia Springs Elementary. I grew up in Miami, Florida; however, moved to Villa Rica in the sixth grade and attended high school in Villa Rica as well.  I left the Atlanta area for a few years but I am very glad to be back. I have two sons that are ages 29 and 34. Both of my children live here. Update!!! New Grandbaby on the way! This will one will make 4!! I have three grandchildren now: Paisley, Carter, and Barrett.

I have a Golden Retriever. His name is Buddy and he is seven years old! He is very big and still acts like a toddler. This can be very time consuming and requires a lot of patience! On a good note, he has not eaten the sofa, yet! Well, I haven't been home yet so that could have changed! Did I tell you haw sweet he is? He is!
